Revolutionary War/Colonial Era Programs
Revolutionary War Battle Reenactment
For 100 - 500 participants. Schools and groups may join together to reach minimum. Smaller groups may still book components of the full program.
The ultimate in an immersive experience! Participants hear stories, receive uniforms and prop weapons (which only shoot flour), are trained in drills and marching orders, and act out a reenactment of an actual battle of the Revolutionary War Era!
Action is filmed and footage is turned into a documentary starring the participants, complete with narration, sound effects and music! Program can also be used for corporate team-building experiences.
A Colonial Ball
Learn historically-inspired dances such as Tompkins Fancy, The Comical Fellow, and a Colonial Cotillion. All steps are taught, and no partner or previous experience is necessary.
Presented in collaboration with Guli Productions
Revolutionary War/Colonial Trunk Show
In this lively educational program, four of the participants are dressed in outfits from the Revolutionary War period of American history – a woman in her day outfit, a Delaware Indian, an upper-class woman dressed for the ball, and a finely-dressed gentleman from town!
The Rifleman
Everyone knows about the Minute Man, but were you ever taught of the importance of the Rifleman on the successful outcome of the American Revolutionary War? See how they dressed and why, learn about the important difference between the muskets and rifles, and enjoy historic stories of these talented sharpshooters of the Colonial time period.
Revolutionary War/Colonial Music & Games
Sing along with Colonial songs like “Yankee Doodle,” “Jennie Jenkins,” and “Churn Butter Churn.” You will also enjoy several games played by the American Colonists such as Cup-and-Ball, Quoits, Brother Jonathon, and Frog in the Middle, which are still great fun for participants of all ages!
